Reviews and Ratings
I just spent four wonderful nights at this resort, and it truly felt like a special retreat. The chalets offer an immersive escape into nature, providing both room and privacy. While most aspects were fantastic, the dining experience had some ups and downs as service needed a bit more polish. Overall, it’s a great spot to unwind and explore the beautiful surroundings of the Coromandel.
Our stay at this resort was an absolute delight! The connection with nature was remarkable, and the atmosphere truly felt like a retreat from reality. The service was impressive, although the hillside location presented some challenges. Overall, it was a magical experience filled with beautiful views and fantastic amenities, but those with mobility issues should take care when booking.
My stay at this hotel was mixed. On one hand, the resort itself is beautifully situated among native greenery, perfect for a peaceful getaway, and the food at the restaurant was top-notch. However, I encountered significant issues with the service, which detracted from the experience. The restaurant staff seemed to prioritize local diners, and overall friendliness was lacking. Despite the lovely surroundings and comfortable accommodations, the unhelpful staff made my experience less enjoyable than it could have been.
Our stay at Puka Park was a wonderful retreat from the city hustle, with beautiful, spacious chalets nestled among the trees. The restaurant offered great food, but we were disappointed initially by the limited menu. The facilities, including the heated pool and tennis court, were top-notch, making it an overall relaxing experience. A few more dining options would enhance the experience, especially during off-peak seasons.
Our stay was overall really enjoyable with a stunning lodge nestled in the bushland. The apartments are spacious and well-equipped, particularly the bathrooms, which were fantastic. However, we found the dining options could use some improvement, particularly in terms of variety on the menu. While the staff provided excellent service, happy to take us around on golf carts, the restaurant's offerings felt a bit overpriced and lacking creativity.
